Translates as "rich port", this island in the Caribbean is an American territory, even though the citizens don't have any voting rights, but get to pay the taxes and join the US army !

These photos are taken around the various districts in the capital, San Juan, a major city for cruise ships to start or finish their tours because of the ease of access for the US population. The area, through considerable investment from the States, has ended up as a mixture of cheesy and rather bland American hotel culture but also some real down and dirty "no go" areas.
