One of the most densely populated countries in the world, and also the most fortified, so much so, that these hard people survived nearly 6 months of being bombed everyday day and night during WW2.

Valletta has an old colonial look, being one of the first designed cities in the world. It's streets are on a grid system, and feels very much like Havana, with it's worn facades, and vintage cars and buses. The midday gun still fires everyday here, as a reminder of it's past glories.

Getting around is particularly easy with English being one of the official languages and English style post and phone boxes everywhere.
