Home to the blues, and birthplace of rock n' roll, so how strange that the place has no soul. A flat, grey, sprawling ghostown, apart from 100m of Beale Str that is cluttered with blues bars, Sun records. and of course, Graceland.

Graceland is fascinating for it's history, and it's taste !! I'm truly impressed by the reverence that fans still hold for Elvis, to the extent that they're willing to buy the expensive and awful tat in the giftshops. Maybe that explains the tears.
