Paris

This is many people's idea of the most romantic city in the world, and it does exude a certain charm which is hard to beat. Haute couture is in abundance in a straight laced kind of way, as well as fantastic, if rather unadventurous food.

But what it does do well is marry it's wonderful architectural heritage with modern cutting edge design. It’s bold and it brings out the best in both.

However, the the thing I notice most is the Parision's determintation to remain very French, and I like that.
