Sadly now nothing but a tacky "theme park" with too many tour groups and stag parties to make it enjoyable walking the streets.

If you can see past the tourists, it's a beautiful city, easy to navigate and friendly, but you'll need the cheap beer to get over the sight of a trashy little train that winds through the cobbled streets laden with lazy sightseers.
