I've been to the area a few times as my sister has lived there for some years.

These photographs represent only one three day visit, and are taken in the southern part of the region around Toulon and Hyres.

Toulon, like a number of French cities, has a small but lovely old centre, but the more modern and larger part is sterile and dull. However, the villages in Provence are a delight, and live up to everything you would want to find there.
