With over 4oo skyscrapers built in the last 20 years, Shanghai's urban growth is truly incredible. Whole districts have been mercilessly removed and the local inhabitants re-housed to make way for the latest highrise. The now famous Bund was farmland only a few years ago and now plays host to China's tallest buildings.
